 What is MB10f?

This is a very small and thin bridge rectifier that comes mounted in a single package. It converts single-phase AC to DC. It is designed for use in small electronic devices like mobile chargers etc. It can have a maximum forward voltage drop of about 1.10. This small package bridge rectifier IC is shown in the figure below.

Its internal circuit diagram is given in the figure below. It has a total of four pins out of which two are for AC input and two for DC output.

Pin-1

DC positive voltage (+) is received from this pin as output.

Pin-2

AC input is given to the IC from this pin.

Pin-3

DC negative voltage (-) is received from this pin as output.

Pin-4

AC input is given to the IC from this pin.

Features of MB10f IC

  • Maximum 35A current can flow through this IC Package.
  • Normally 800mA current flows through it.
  • It works normally at a temperature of as low as -55 °C and a maximum of 150 °C.
  • Its mass is 0.08 g.
  • Its peak reverse voltage is 1000 volts.
  • It works on single-phase AC.
